Product Design Leader
I build the foundations that let design teams — and the products they ship — run like well-oiled machines.
I'm a product design leader at IDEMIA, where I lead a team of 5+ designers and the UX behind 8+ identity-verification products across mobile, desktop, kiosk, and enterprise. I believe the most complex problems run best on simple, well-defined foundations — clear direction, strong patterns, and the consistency that makes real innovation possible.
Selected work
A few projects I'm proud of. Each one is a short story of problem → process → outcome.

Converging a government product ecosystem
Two siloed government teams shared a codebase but not a conversation. I led the convergence into one collaborative design workstream.

From ad-hoc to operational
I turned an informal, request-driven UX function into a repeatable delivery practice — and the team's research influence and output grew with it.

Moving UX to AI-native delivery
I'm leading my team's shift from static handoffs to an AI-native workflow — Figma Make plus AWS Kiro, integrated into engineering's pipelines. Revision cycles down 30%+.

About
I found design in college, turned an internship into contract work during the pandemic, and learned by asking for more. By constantly requesting new work — and shipping it — I ended up touching nearly every major next-generation product at my company. From that vantage point, I could see where our design strategy had gaps.
So I started closing them. I built our design system around the company's branding standards and earned the freedom to fix process gaps long before I had the title to. Working alongside my manager to drive change, I was selected to lead the team — where I finalized those process changes, built formal partnerships across DevOps, Product, Training, and Hardware, and kept tuning our workflow until it ran like a well-oiled machine.
Today I'm Manager of Product Design at IDEMIA, a biometric identity and security firm, leading 5+ designers and the UX function behind 8+ products spanning forensic analysis, biometric enrollment, facial identification, and state and federal adjudication. Right now I'm leading our shift from static UX/UI handoffs to AI-native, front-end-integrated delivery, and I own accessibility strategy (WCAG, Section 508, ADA) across the portfolio. I'm looking for my next step as a Design Director.
The best machines — no matter how complex the problem — run on well-defined, simple solutions. People thrive with direction, tools, patterns, and consistency. Innovation only happens once the foundation exists.
